Cryptocurrencies may be starting to become a mainstream payment method, according to a survey by payments giant Visa, Jan. 13.

Nearly a quarter of SMEs in a Visa survey of 2,250 small business owners in nine countries, including the U.S., Brazil, Singapore and Canada, plan to accept cryptocurrencies as a payment method in 2022 Thirteen percent of consumers in these countries expect retail stores to start offering crypto payments this year.
