Twitter rolls out NFT avatar feature, Musk calls it 'annoying'

January 21 news, Twitter (TWTR.N) announced on Thursday a feature that allows users to use NFTs as their personal avatars.

Twitter’s move is aimed at getting more users to showcase digital art and encouraging people to sign up for its Twitter Blue subscription product. It is reported that this new feature is limited to Twitter Blue subscribers, and only supports Apple iOS devices.

Tesla (TSLA.O) CEO Elon Musk tweeted that the feature is annoying as Twitter spends engineering resources on it while cryptocurrency scammers spam every post.
