2. Let me make a conclusion first:

Doing research is a very hard thing. Most of the time, it is very boring. There are even some very annoying places. It is not as fancy as many people who don't know it think. Drawing on a blackboard/whiteboard is very boring. Complex diagrams, processes, etc.



3. Most people have access to Crypto research, or I have not been exposed to very deep. I will not use the knowledge of cryptography, mathematics, and the underlying computer, various regression models, econometric models, and hypothesis testing.



4. After I graduated, I entered a research institute, which was an Internet finance/equity fund research institute, and the things I did were very boring. After doing it for a while, he asked me to study cryptography, and bought me a book on cryptography principles. To tell the truth, I am very grateful to the leaders at that time, and it is quite famous without saying the name. Dr. Wudaokou, a scholar at Harvard, is also the chief economist at the top domestic institution.



5. At that time, it was very hard to tell the truth. Hash functions, Byzantine generals problem, birthday paradox, pigeon cage problem, etc. The first job was translation. JD.com searched for the best-selling book on digital assets at that time, and the translator who turned it into it also had my name. It was also at that time that I officially started to contact Crypto. In short, I have done research for nearly five years until now, and it is a little bit of experience. I will share it here.



6. I am limited to the research of institutions like us, which can be understood as research on the nature of Crypto transactions. We usually ask candidates to write something, or look at what has been written before, and these people generally have big problems. Especially some beginners who feel good about themselves and can do research well. The biggest problem is: chaos, no logic. Generally speaking out of face is not good, but many of them are just a bunch of garbage in my opinion.



7. If you want to do research well, the scope is the research of research institutions, funds, VCs, exchanges and even the media. The most important point is to learn English well. After learning English well, if you want to do research, remember one thing: if you don't know what to write, read more; if you think too much, write it down. Don't doubt the results of the research in the end, they must be presented in the form of words, otherwise the significance is really small.



8, so remember, be sure to write. It’s one thing to think, but it’s another to be able to write it down clearly. To describe it clearly in words actually requires a high level of understanding of a problem/project. And no matter how complex the problem is, it must be explained in very, very simple words. If you can't, don't doubt, you must not really understand.
