PitchBook: The total amount of financing in the crypto industry this week exceeded $1.8 billion, an increase of 36% from last week

According to PitchBook investment and financing data, more than $1.82 billion was injected into the crypto and blockchain sector this week, a 36% increase compared to the previous week’s $1.34 billion financing. Notable ones include:

1. Immutable completed a $200 million financing at a valuation of $2.5 billion, led by Temasek, with participation from Tencent and Animoca Brands;

2. Bain Capital launched a $560 million crypto venture, which is expected to invest in 30 DeFi and crypto infrastructure companies and protocols.

3. Cake DeFi launched Cake DeFi Ventures (CDV), a $100 million crypto venture capital institution, focusing on areas such as Web 3 and the Metaverse;

4. Espresso Systems, a Web3 extension and privacy solution, completed $32 million in financing;

5. Kado, a stablecoin payment developer, completed $5.4 million in financing;

6. Swim Protocol completed $4 million in financing, led by Pantera Capital, with participation from FTX, Alameda Research, and Coinbase Ventures.
