A spokesman for the Kazakh State Electricity Company said on the same day: "From January 24 to January 31, we will stop supplying electricity to cryptocurrency mining companies. The reason for the power failure in Kazakh is the interruption of the main power lines in southern Kazakh.

This not only makes it difficult for Kazakhs, but also makes neighboring Uzbekistan face power difficulties. Because not only labor costs are cheap, but electricity costs are also cheap.

As a result, Kazakhstan became the second largest Bitcoin mining country in the world. According to the Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance, Kazakhstan accounts for 18.1% of global cryptocurrency mining. This is the second place after the United States.
