Etherescan Adds New Messaging Feature for Anonymous: "Blockscan Chat"

The Blockscan Chat service enables users to message each other through their Ethereum wallet addresses.

The team behind popular blockchain explorer and analytics platform Etherscan has launched an Ethereum-based wallet-to-wallet instant messaging service called "Blockscan Chat."

Currently in beta mode, Blockscan currently allows users to have instant wallet-to-wallet chat, access chat from multiple devices, block spam or unwanted addresses, and get notified on this block explorer when a message is received.

This new feature is a great way to talk to other anonymous people — such as negotiating anonymous purchases — and it can be especially handy when dealing with white hat hackers, who often leave messages in Ethereum transactions, interacting with Personal communication, and attacks on encrypted platforms.

Twitter user "bdmartino" believes that the feature could be used to negotiate NFT transactions between buyers and sellers, adding that if the transaction is conducted by a decentralized exchange, both parties can reduce their interaction with NFT platforms such as OpenSea. associated costs.

In terms of user privacy and data storage, Blockscan noted that its information is stored through "global hosting providers" with servers located in multiple regions, and that inactive data will be deleted after 24 months.

Blockscan also stated that this information will not be traded to third parties, but will be disclosed or transferred to partners such as data warehouses, IT service providers and data analysis agencies.
