Crypto VC Spartan Group Launches $100M Web3 Fund

On March 16, crypto venture capital firm The Spartan Group announced the launch of a $100 million Web3 fund.

Former CoinMarketCap VP Shaun Heng joins Spartan Group and leads Spartan Labs, the new venture capital studio running the fund.

It is reported that Spartan Group is headquartered in Asia and was established in 2017. Its investment portfolio includes 1inch, Acala, Synthetix, etc. Spartan Group launched a $110 million DeFi VC fund in 2021 and recently announced the launch of a $200 million Metaverse/NFT/Gaming Fund.
