Bitcoin donations to Ukrainian NGOs have surpassed $5 million

According to Blockchain.com, the Bitcoin wallet of “Come Back Alive,” an NGO that supports the Ukrainian military, has so far raised 131 BTC, worth about $5.15 million.

Come Back Alive was founded in 2014 when armed clashes broke out between Ukraine and Russian-backed separatists, and the NGO claimed to have supplied Ukrainian fighters with armor and medical equipment. On February 24, Russia launched a full-scale military attack on Ukraine. Subsequently, the National Bank of Ukraine opened a special fundraising account to support the Ukrainian armed forces.
