Bitbuy plans to delist XRP on January 13, 2022 after obtaining regulatory approval to become a "fully registered trading operator"

According to the latest news from the cryptocurrency trading platform Bitbuy, XRP will be delisted on January 13, 2022, including XRP/CAD and XRP/BTC trading pairs will be deleted from its platform.

In early December, Bitbuy was approved by the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) to become a "fully registered trading operator."

Regarding the reasons for this delisting of XRP, Bitbuy stated that “they must follow OSC guidelines to determine whether a certain cryptocurrency can be classified as a security, and also consider the opinions of international regulators.” At the beginning of this year, due to the supervision surrounding XRP Uncertainty, including Coinbase, Kraken, Binance.US and other trading platforms have stopped related trading services.
