Two Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) lawyers have resigned after a federal judge criticized the agency for gross abuse of power.They were lead attorneys in the case against cryptocurrency platform DEBT Box.The judge said the regulator’s lawsuit was filled with false statements and misrepresentations without any evidence.In March, he sanctioned the agency for abuse of power. The SEC was forced to apologize.
