Joseph Lubin believes the SEC has reclassified ETH as a security

Ethereum co-founder and Consensys head Joseph Lubin believes the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) has reclassified ETH as a security.“It looks like the SEC has reclassified Ethereum into a security without telling anyone. They are taking a series of strategic enforcement actions rather than open discourse and clear rulemaking,” Lubin said.He also believes that the regulator’s coercive actions are intended to create fear, uncertainty and doubt in the cryptocurrency industry in an attempt to paralyze Consensys and force the company out of the country.
