Digital asset firm Galaxy Digital files to register as US company, plans to list on Nasdaq

On January 29, digital asset company Galaxy Digital filed a registration statement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), applying to relocate from the Cayman Islands to Delaware, U.S. to list its Class A common stock on the selected market under the proposed ticker symbol "GLXY". Founded by Mike Novogratz, Galaxy Digital is currently listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange under the same symbol "GLXY". The new application is under SEC review, and listing is subject to stock exchange approval. The proposed registration change is also subject to approval by Galaxy Digital shareholders and regulators, including the Toronto Stock Exchange.
