The Australian Tax Office has requested the personal data and transaction details of more than 1.2 million accounts registered with cryptocurrency exchanges.Specifically, the regulator requested date of birth, phone numbers, social media account information, bank account numbers, wallet addresses, etc.These steps were taken to identify unpaid taxes.
